Maggot day in the north

The winter is still over Denmark and while we are waiting not much happens on the blog. But this weekend we had a cool event comming up

Since I was a small boy, The bike in my dads mind and since garage has been the "Maggot" - A Honda CX 500 B mode from 1981. The bike has done 150000 km, and is still running. It has given me the first bike experiences and introduced me to allot of people. Today the Maggot is retired from its touring duty and enjoying is 3 age as a sundaybike. Last year it did 2000 km overall around 700 km with me and 1300km ridden by my dad.

The club culture around these bikes has always been great and yesterday we went to a technical day in northern jutland. The day was called "Cx teknisk dag" and gathered around 70 people to learn more about the bikes. I been helping with servicing the Maggot since i was 13 years old so I help the old man showing how to maintain the bikes in general. The guys that did not service their own bikes before they came was impressed and happy to learn and see how things was done on the old bikes. The whole day was great - The people that knew a little and them who knew allot had the possibility to nerd with other that knew allot. A great day - A day that should be a possibility in every club.
