Hello, my name is Rasmus - The second one!

I think it's hightime that I introduce myself on this blog.
My name is Rasmus and as a co-editor and a good friend of Rasmus (confusing right!), I also adore bikes, albeit not as much as Rasmus :)
But I enjoy riding my bikes, be it on- or off-road.
As mentioned in an earlier post, my collection of bikes consists of a Suzuki SV 650 S from 2005 and a Yamaha DT 125 R from 1993.

The Suzuki was my first bike, which I bought almost half a year before I got my license. I don't know if this was the best bike to start with, because of the sub-par suspension and the very sensitive throttle.
The SV has a V-twin engine, with gives it a phenomenal pulling power even from low rpms.
As a beginner this is great, when you haven't learned what gear is best for a particular type of corner.

The throttle sensitivity took some time getting used to, which meant that I spent the best part of a season learning how to corner and position myself on the bike correctly. The good thing (maybe?) is that all other bikes I've tried so far, feels unbelievably easy to ride.
And my second bike is no exception for that matter.
The Yamaha DT 125 R is a small two-stroke off-roader.

I bought it just about a month ago, as I've always wanted an off-road bike.
Oh and it was dirt cheap too :)
It's very nimble which is mostly due to its very low weight.
Great for going off-road, though I've only done a day worth of off-road so far, but loved every part of it, and hope for more to come next year.
It's in need of a good overhauling though, which will be a project for the winter.
Be sure to check the blog for further updates through the following months.
