Everyday bike of the day

Honda CX 500 E

The Honda CX 500E or Euro-sport as it also was named, was the successor of the CX 500 A,B and C.
The CX 500E was upgraded with Hondas mono system(prolink) , a new front, other brakes end and some minor changes to the frame. The CX500 engine is not a special fast engine but is stable and very low on maintenance. The engine is also known for awesome torque in the bottom of the rev scale. It is a V2 engine on 496ccm, water-cooled and placed in the motoguzzi way in the frame.
The E-sport was also launched in a deluxe edition - with a turbo and injection , which was the first series-production bike with a turbo. This bike was know for its turbo lack but was sublime at touring.
The A and B models is becoming famous and is on is way to get classic bike status like the Yamaha XS650 and Kawasaki z650. The turbo is also a desired bike for enthusiast and becoming hard go get and is very hard to maintain because of the injection and turbo.
The CX 500E on the other hand is being rejected by the enthusiast and that maybe the chance for normal, everyday bikers. The CX 500E is a runner and might be the cheap solution to getting on the road.
