The bike of the day

Suzuki Gsx-R 750 - 1992/1995

This bike is a fine example of what this blog is about. The Gsx-r 750 was one of the first real superbikes anyone was able buy at the local dealer and trash around the country roads playing participant in the TT

First air/oil cooled model
The bike was first introduced in 1985 with an air-cooled engine but after 7 year this engine was replaced by a water-cooled  unit. This model is the bike of the day. I have chosen this because of the looks and feel. Its a sharp bike with a beafy look and a nice engine. The water-cooled engine might not be as powerful and race-alike as the last air-oil cooled bikes with a short stroke engine but as a daily and practical runner I find the water-cooled unit more usable and that is a counting factor in this blog. More information and stories of these bike is avalible here suzukicycles.org
