Why we ride?

Motorcycles are wonderful!
Think about why you ride them. Is It because of the convenience in cities? Is it because of the low fuel consumption? Is it because of the relatively low insurance and tax expenses?

For some, these are the reasons, but I see them as just some of the few benefits coming from riding motorcycles.
The real reason we all ride (or most of us, hopefully) is because of the sheer fun.

The feeling of the G-forces as you accelerate, the smell of the exhaust gasses and the vibrations coming from the warm engine placed in the sparsely spaced frame performing at its peak, delivering a power-to-weight ratio rivaling the fastest sport-cars that mere mortals could never afford.
And the sound!
Cut the sound and it wouldn't be the same thing. The constant dips and raises in engine note deliver the perfect soundtrack time after time!

This description seems to describe a good thrashing round the countryside or a lap round the TT-Isle of Man. The truth is that you don't need a big expensive sports-bike to experience this. The beauty of motorcycles, is that whatever bike you've got, you'll at all levels experience the same thrill of riding, and love your bike every second.

What's the most important thing about your bike?
That it puts a grin on your face, right?
